Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Head of Field Sales to join our Gurgaon-based team. The successful candidate will lead our field sales operations, focusing on the UK market. They will drive growth, build and manage a high-performing sales team, and ensure strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership and Strategy:
• Develop and implement field sales strategies aligned with company objectives and UK market needs.
• Lead, inspire, and manage a team of field sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets.
• Identify growth opportunities and new market segments for broadband, lease lines, and VoIP solutions.
• Sales Operations:
• Establish and oversee sales processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
• Ensure a consistent focus on achieving sales KPIs, revenue goals, and profitability.
• Team Development:
• Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to ensure optimal performance.
• Foster a collaborative and high-energy work culture.
• Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide continuous support.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the marketing team to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless implementation of solutions for UK clients.
• Liaise with BT as a partner, ensuring alignment with their product offerings and guidelines.
• Market Insight and Reporting:
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 5-10 years of proven experience in field sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in telecom sales, specifically broadband, lease lines, and VoIP solutions, is essential.
• Strong understanding of the UK telecom market and BT products/services.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience:
• Previous experience with a BT reseller or a telecom company.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.
