Role :- Senior Metallurgist
Location :- Mangaon, Raigad, Maharashtra.
Required Qualification:
Education :- B.E / B. Tech or post graduation in Me
tallurgy.
Work Experience :-
7 - 12 years should have worked in the Metallurgical Industry is a must.
3 years experience in Aerospace or Defence industry is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of metallic materials, including alloys commonly used in aerospace applications.- Hands-on experience with metallurgical testing, failure analysis, and quality control processes.- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, particularly in aerospace.
About the role:
This role involves working on advanced metallurgical processes, material development, and quality assurance to meet the high standards of our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse the properties and behaviours of various metals and alloys to optimize material performance in the processes we do.- Develop and implement metallurgical processes to improve product quality and efficiency.- Conduct failure analyses and recommend solutions to enhance material durability.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to ensure compliance with industry standards.- Oversee production of existing metallurgical processes.- Add value and knowledge to existing processes.- Help in optimization of metallurgical processes.- Should Have experience in operating Vaccum Furnaces.- Stay updated on advancements in metallurgy and aerospace material applications.- Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations in all processes.
