Job Description: Senior Quality Analyst

About Us : Aerchain is a leading B2B SaaS platform specialising in autonomous sourcing.We are committed to delivering top-tier solutions to our clients, and our QA team plays acritical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. We are currently seeking aSenior Quality Analyst to join our team and mentor our testing efforts.Job Summary: As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the qualityand reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for mentoring a team of 2-3testers, developing and maintaining manual and automated test suites, conducting APItesting, and setting up CI/CD pipelines for automation suites. The ideal candidate will have astrong background in manual testing, automation testing using Java Selenium, Cypress, orPython, a deep understanding of software development processes, and prior experienceworking on B2B projects.Key Responsibilities:● Proven expertise in Collaborating with a team of 4-5 testers, providing guidance,mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality testing practices.● Develop and maintain manual and automated test suites using Java Selenium,Cypress, or Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage.● Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and performance of backendservices.● Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation suites to enable continuousintegration and deployment of software updates.● Perform thorough regression testing to detect and prevent software defects.● Monitor and analyse test results, identify trends, and implement improvements toenhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.● Good with test planning, test estimations, product , SDLC, STLC,● ~ 2 years experience using Database querying tool such as MySQL, PostgreSQL● Strong understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices.● Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams for a faster and to havequalitative delivery, report issues, and facilitate resolution of testing-related issues.● Internal & External Reports generation & maintenance : (E-mail - writtencommunication)● Attention to detail, understanding on customer Journey / user path.● UI/UX testingRequirements :● Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or anequivalent field.● 4-6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manualtesting, automation & API testing.● > 3 years experience in building an automation suite using Java Selenium, Cypress,or Python● Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins,GitLab CI, or Travis CI.○ > 3 years of experience in one of the tools mentioned above○ Should have already handled Integrations / e2e cycles● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in real time, with a keen attention todetail.● Proven ability to collaborate and mentor a team of testers, fostering a collaborativeand productive work environment.● Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability toeffectively interact with various stakeholders & clients.● Knowledge Operating Systems various types, usage of different browser types,Testing different types of applications (native, android, iOS, web)● Prior experience working on B2B projects is highly desirable.Preferred Qualifications:● Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, identify testingneeds, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.● Knowledge & proven expertise on any of the performance testing tools such asJMeter or Gatling or Soap UI● Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform● Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or relevant professional certifications
