Job Title: Lead - Business Development - International Energy Business
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Purpose
The Lead of Business Development - International Energy Business will be responsible for leading and executing the business development strategies for the international energy division at Adani. The role requires a strong background in the energy/infrastructure sector with expertise in international business development in sectors like transmission line, infrastructure, thermal power and renewables. The ideal candidate should hold a B.E. and preferably MBA degree, possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, and have a proven track record of successfully driving business growth in the energy/infrastructure sector. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of Adani's international energy business while promoting sustainable and innovative solutions.
Experience
15-20 years of experience in the energy/infrastructure industry
Demonstrated track record in international business development and strategic leadership
Proven experience in driving growth within the transmission line, infrastructure, thermal power, and renewables sectors
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive international expansion in the energy/infrastructure sector
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to support the growth objectives
Lead and manage cross-functional teams to implement effective business development initiatives
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, government authorities, and industry partners to support business objectives
Provide strategic guidance and insight on market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory developments to inform business decisions
Oversee the negotiation and finalization of contracts, agreements, and commercial terms to ensure favorable outcomes for the organization
Drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions and sustainable practices in alignment with Adani's commitment to environmental stewardship
Collaborate with internal departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business development activities
Represent Adani at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance the company's visibility and thought leadership in the international energy sector
Provide regular reports, performance metrics, and updates to senior management on the progress and results of business development initiatives
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.)
Preferably Master of Business Administration (MBA)
