Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our eCommerce team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and B2B and B2C eCommerce, with the ability to analyze complex business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the experience, optimize operational efficiency, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analyses of eCommerce use cases, systems, and performance metrics.
- Identify and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Effectively communicate with internal teams and customers to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen, and interface designs.
- Help the business users or end users of the proposed application to conduct user acceptance testing.
- Creating business user training and create user manuals.
- Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and marketing teams to align business goals and deliver innovative solutions.
- Interaction with architects and developer to ensure business requirements are properly implemented.
Data-Driven Insights:
- Leverage data analytics tools to monitor eCommerce performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and status reports.
Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend enhancements to improve the customer journey and operational workflows.
- Implement best practices and methodologies in business analysis.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Oversee testing efforts to ensure that new features and functionalities meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
Minimum Requirements:
· Must have experience in B2B, B2C ecommerce retail space.
· Basic understanding of ecommerce and other online retail businesses (B2B, B2C, Omni channel, Order Management etc).
· Working knowledge of common business tools - Documentation (Confluence, MS Word), Ticketing (JIRA), Flow Charts (Lucid Charts, Visio etc).
· Understanding of IT systems engineering concepts.
· Business case development from requirements.
· Agile Scrum project working experience.
· Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer experience principles.
· Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau) and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Good to Have
· Working knowledge of any of these Ecommerce Platforms - Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, HCL Commerce, Medusa
· Working knowledge of Ecommerce and/or Online Retail business functions and use cases

· Good Written, Verbal and Listening Skills including technical writing skills
· Good analytical skills
Educational Qualification:
· UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
· PG: MBA/PGDM in Any Specialization, MCA in Any Specialization.
