Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our Elevators Department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of elevator and escalator systems through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, responding to service calls, and ensuring that all systems are operating at peak efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Preventive Maintenance :
- Conduct regular checks, inspections, and maintenance on elevator and escalator systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. Perform tasks such as lubricating parts, checking wiring, and replacing worn components.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs :
- Diagnose and repair any mechanical, electrical, or technical issues that arise with elevators, escalators, and other vertical transport systems. Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and service calls to minimize downtime.
- System Upgrades & Improvements :
- Assist in upgrading and modernizing elevator systems as needed, following technical specifications and safety standards.
Required Qualifications :
- Education :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Experience :
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or technical support, preferably in the elevator/escalator industry or a related field. Fresh graduates with technical training are also welcome to apply.
