Job Overview:We are seeking a Senior Cloud/Platform Engineer with a strong background in creating and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS. The ideal candidate will work closely with Data Engineering teams, designing and deploying scalable, serverless cloud architectures using tools like AWS CloudFormation. This role also involves leading a small team and ensuring efficient cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles on AWS.Create, deploy, and manage AWS resources using CloudFormation (CFM) and AWS CDK.Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build scalable and stable serverless platforms.Lead a small team (2-pizza squad) to deliver cloud-based solutions.Develop and optimize Python scripts for automation and testing (Object-Oriented Programming).Ensure high standards of Python unit testing for deployed code.Maintain and manage services like S3, Lambda, Glue, SQS, IAM, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, EventBridge, Step Functions, EMR (serverless), Redshift (serverless), API Gateway, and AppSync.Design and integrate REST APIs for application connectivity.Utilize Azure AD and OAuth2 for managing authentication and user access.

Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and AWS services.Strong expertise in Python development and unit testing.Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation and CDK.Experience in building serverless architectures on AWS.Knowledge of Data Engineering principles and cloud-based data processing.Prior experience with Azure AD, OAuth2, and BDD (Business Driven Development).
