Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned and dynamic leader to head our inside sales team and manage a high-performing call centre. This role is critical to driving revenue growth, improving operational efficiency, and creating sales-focused processes. With full P&L ownership, the Head of Inside Sales will lead the sale of MeraDoc’s core offerings—doctor consultations, medicines, and diagnostics —while ensuring exceptional customer experience and team performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership:
  • Drive and achieve revenue targets for core offerings through upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a team of 50+ agents and supervisors to exceed sales goals.
  • Team Management:
  • Develop and execute performance-focused coaching, incentives, and development programs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and productivity.
  • Sales Strategy & CRM:
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage customer cohorts, tailor scripts, and optimize outreach via WhatsApp, SMS, and app notifications.
  • Create data-driven campaigns that maximize customer engagement and sales.
  • Operational Efficiency:
  • Design and implement processes and QC protocols to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Identify and execute automation and tech-driven improvements.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Ensure a seamless customer journey by addressing feedback and driving satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Planning:
  • Prepare actionable sales reports and align strategies with organizational goals.
  • Manage budgets and ensure financial efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related fields.
  • Experience: 8–10 years in call centre/inside sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Background in insurance or hardcore sales is highly preferred.
  • Proven P&L management experience and a track record of driving sales growth.
  • Skills:
  • Expertise in CRM systems, analytics tools, and sales pipeline management.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
