ServQual Limited ( is based in Berkshire, UK and is an emerging start up in the IT and Cyber Security industry. With the need to cater to the wider market we are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to help us in the company's growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

The role:

This position, reporting to the Director, provides a great opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys a challenge to apply their skills and experience to generating new business from a large database of existing customers. The successful applicant will join a small sales office and, after the required training, be responsible for the following.

· Helping to increase sales by applying state of the art business management & digital marketing concepts.

· Managing & retaining our established customers

· Identifying opportunities for new business from our existing customer database

· Identifying opportunities from new website customers

· Ongoing research to provide a better understanding of our customer’s needs

Specifically, you'll need to:

Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, products and services - or new ways of reaching our existing markets

Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization and update our database

Establish contact and generate opportunities

Develop relationships with customers so that you can generate repeat business

Understand the needs of your customers and be able to communicate that in-house

Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them

Work with the Estimator to establish customer pricing and margins

Manage your pipeline and provide activity and sales forecasts

Provide customer feedback

You will need the following:

· Determination to succeed and a self starter

· A strong analytical mindset capable of analyzing customer accounts and identifying opportunities

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to transform customer conversations into business-driving relationships

· Exceptional customer service skills and soft skills

· The ability to work as part of a small team

· Exceptional knowledge of social media & digital marketing such as LinkedIn, Facebook and X (Twitter)

· Knowledge of Cyber security, Artificial Intelligence, IT Systems, Database & Analytics will be an advantage
