Job Description We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in FastAPI and/or Django , and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on backend development experience . In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and delivery teams based in Dubai and Riyadh , contributing to scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices that power high-impact products for regional and global customers. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using FastAPI or Django . Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing backend components and microservices. Integrate with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/NoSQL) and external services. Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, frontend, DevOps, QA, and our Dubai & Riyadh delivery teams . Participate in design discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews. Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize queries, and improve API efficiency. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS preferred). Required Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Python backend development. Strong experience with FastAPI and/or Django frameworks. Solid understanding of ORMs , relational databases, and REST design principles. Experience working with PostgreSQL/MySQL , Redis, Celery, or message queues. Familiarity with Docker , containers, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP). Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT). Ability to write unit tests and follow clean coding practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good to have Experience with microservices architecture . Knowledge of GraphQL , WebSockets, or async programming. Exposure to CI/CD tooling and modern DevOps practices. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
