About the Role

Write, Edit, and Optimize Content: Produce high-quality, engaging, and original content for blogs, websites, social media, emails, and more. Content should be optimized for SEO without compromising quality.



Digital Marketing Integration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content is aligned with ongoing campaigns and strategies—help drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.



Research: Dive deep into industry trends, competitors, and relevant topics to create fresh, compelling content that resonates with our audience.



Social media: Understand the nuances of various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and know how to create shareable, viral-worthy content.



SEO Focus: Use your SEO knowledge to write content that ranks—incorporating keyword research, meta descriptions, and other optimization tactics to increase organic reach.



Analytics & Reporting: Keep track of content performance metrics (views, engagement, conversions) and provide insights for future content strategies.



Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure content is visually appealing and on-brand.


Responsibilities

  • Experience: 1-3 years in content writing with a focus on digital marketing.
  • Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs). Understanding of social media strategies and content creation for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Ability to adapt writing tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
  • Slang & Culture Awareness: Comfortable using US slang and colloquial expressions in a way that feels natural and connects with younger, social-media savvy audiences.
  • Education: A degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is a plus, but not a must if you have the skills and experience.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with email marketing, landing pages, or paid ad copywriting.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML or familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • A creative, self-motivated mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
