Job Description Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with organisational goals in the manufacturing industry. Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations and filing requirements. Oversee tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities and beyond. Collaborate with internal teams to manage tax planning and reporting processes. Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments. Provide guidance and training to the tax team to improve operational efficiency. Coordinate with external consultants and advisors for specialised tax-related matters. Prepare and present detailed tax reports to senior management for decision-making purposes. The Successful Applicant A successful Head Taxation should have: A qualified Chartered Accountant. Comprehensive knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws relevant to the manufacturing industry. Proven experience in managing tax compliance and audits. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise tax strategies. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders. Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in tax reporting and documentation.
