Job Title: React Native Developer (Fintech App - iOS & Android)

Location: Navi Mumbai (Remote)

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced React Native Developer to lead the development of our mobile app from scratch. You’ll be responsible for implementing complex onboarding processes, real-time auction features, secure data handling, and ensuring an engaging, consistent experience across platforms. This role requires someone who understands the unique demands of fintech apps, including performance optimization, data security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.- Implement user onboarding flows with complex form handling, validations, and eligibility checks. Implement push notifications and alerts for pool activities, deadlines, and payouts.- Build and optimize core features such as user-contributed savings module and integrate real-time auction features ensuring reliable data flow and user engagement.- Work closely with the backend engineer to connect with REST APIs, ensuring secure & efficient data handling especially around sensitive data like social security numbers and bank account information. Prioritize app security and compliance.- Continuously monitor app performance and debug issues to ensure smooth functionality after Go-Live.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in React Native development, with a strong portfolio of published cross-platform apps. Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with TypeScript (preferred). Familiarity with React Native libraries like React Navigation, Formik/React Hook Form, and Reanimated for building complex, interactive UIs.- Background in fintech or previous experience working on financial or transactional apps.- Experience with Firebase (for push notifications, real-time database, and analytics) and WebSockets for real-time features.- Solid understanding of mobile app security and data privacy best practices, especially in a fintech context (e.g., encryption, secure storage). Experience with third-party libraries for secure data storage (e.g., React Native Keychain).- Experience with integration of APIs and handling data flow between frontend and backend.- Strong debugging skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.- Familiarity with Apple and Google Play Store guidelines and release processes.
