Prepare and manage cash flows and develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs4. Report monthly to the CEO on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.4 Investments:1. Establish/implement an investment policy2. Management of risks exposure to the organization’s investments3. Monitoring of bank accounts to ensure safety of organizational funds4. Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; and maintaining relationships with the investment market.5. Ensure ownership of all assets by the organization5 Resource Mobilization / Fundraising:1. Forecast cash flow positions, any related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.2. Develop financial sustainability strategies.3. Develop a resource mobilization strategy.4. Identify possible fundraising strategies.5. Gather information on donor policies and priorities in line with the mission of the organization.6. Build a donor database and devise ways to expand the database7. Establish and manage partnerships with banking and other donor agencies10. Facilitate effective communication with all donors including reporting and update11. Perform all other functions as may be directed by the CFO/MDRequirements Experience1. Proven experience in Manufacturing Companies2. Experience as a Finance Manager (5 years min)3. Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting4. Experience in managing a team of accountants5. Hands-On ERP Systems Experience (Odoo,ERP experience is ideal)6. Experience in Cash Management, Risk Management, Auditing and Taxation7. Prior work experience in financial strategy and executing financial strategic initiativesSkills and Abilities1.
