We are looking to onboard a seasoned professional to join our team as a Manager of Alliances & Partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in educational content development, vendor management, and partnership building within the EdTech sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to build strong stakeholder & partner relationships, enhancing our product offerings and aligning with our strategic vision.
About the Role
Market Analysis: Conduct regular analyses to stay informed about competitive product offerings, identifying gaps and opportunities for unique content, product and business acquisitions
Alliances & Partnerships: Establish and nurture strategic alliances with industry partners to expand our product portfolio and collaborate on our innovative strategic initiatives. Leverage these partnerships to secure exclusivity and priority access to our customers.
Content Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for acquiring a diverse range of content, catering to varied learning needs and aligned with HubbleHox's product goals.
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard content and product development vendors to ensure high-quality and scalable products.
Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations with content vendors and partners, including contract terms, timelines, pricing, and exclusivity arrangements.
Network Building: Utilize an extensive network within the EdTech industry to identify and collaborate with potential content partners, staying updated on the latest market trends.
Industry & Academic Partnerships: Identify opportunities to work with schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions to forge strategic academic partnerships
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Content and Technology teams to understand their requirements for external partnerships and support them with the same.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, MBA preferred- 5+ years in content acquisition, alliances/partnership management, or vendor management within EdTech or educational publishing- Experience in Business Strategy or Founder’s Office is a plus
