Job Title: Assistant Manager Operations (B2B)

Reports to: Head of E-commerce
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our E-Commerce team as an Assistant Manager - Operations (B2B) . The role requires managing and streamlining B2B operations, ensuring timely delivery of products, maintaining accurate records, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations, a proactive mindset, and experience in handling B2B processes within the E-Commerce domain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Order Processing & Fulfillment :
- Manage the end-to-end B2B order processing lifecycle, from order receipt to final delivery.
- Coordinate with the supply chain, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely order dispatch and delivery.
2.Client Relationship Management :
- Serve as the point of contact for B2B clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Provide periodic updates to clients regarding order status and deliveries.
3.Inventory Management :
- Work closely with the inventory team to ensure product availability for B2B orders.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with the procurement team as needed.
4.Data Analysis & Reporting :
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and present regular operational performance reports to management.
5.Process Optimization :
- Continuously evaluate and improve B2B operations processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement automation tools or systems wherever applicable to streamline workflows.
6.Compliance & Documentation :
- Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements in all B2B transactions.
- Maintain accurate documentation for contracts, invoices, and related operations records.
7.Cross-Functional Coordination :
- Collaborate with the sales, finance, and product teams to align operations with business objectives.
- Support the marketing team in planning and executing promotional activities for B2B clients.
Key Skills & Competencies :
- Strong understanding of B2B operations and E-Commerce processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other operational tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle escalations effectively.
Educational Qualifications & Experience :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field. MBA/PGDM is a plus.
- Experience : 3-5 years of experience in operations, preferably in a B2B E-Commerce setup or related field.
