We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President - Global Expansion to lead and accelerate CUR8’s growth into international markets, specifically in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) and US regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling SaaS or technology solutions in these markets, with a deep understanding of the local business environments, regulatory landscapes, and cultural nuances.
- Market Entry Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for CUR8’s expansion into the MENA and US regions, including market research, competitive analysis, and positioning.
- Sales Leadership: Lead the sales efforts in new and existing international markets, driving revenue growth by establishing key partnerships, closing high-value deals, and expanding CUR8’s customer base.
- Global Business Development: Identify and cultivate strategic opportunities, alliances, and partnerships that align with CUR8’s growth objectives in the target regions.
- Team Building: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing sales and business development team focused on achieving ambitious growth targets in global markets.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry leaders in the MENA and US regions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- P&L Management: Oversee the financial performance of CUR8’s international operations, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth through effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all international operations comply with local laws, regulations, and industry standards in the MENA and US markets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with CUR8’s product, marketing, and engineering teams to tailor offerings to meet the specific needs of global customers and markets.
- Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular updates to the executive team on the progress of global expansion efforts, including performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in selling SaaS or technology solutions in the MENA and/or US markets.
- Experience in driving successful market entry and expansion strategies in international markets.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of the business environments, regulatory landscapes, and cultural nuances of the MENA and US regions.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- High level of initiative, with the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or another relevant language is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the MENA and US regions as needed.
