The AWS DevOps Engineer would be responsible for

designing, implementing, and managing a scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) specifically tailored to support mobile app development, deployment, and monitoring, collaborating closely with development teams to automate CI/CD pipelines and optimize application performance across different mobile platforms, while ensuring high availability and security standards are met .

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:Provision and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, Load Balancers, etc.) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to support mobile app deployments.Design and implement robust cloud architecture for mobile app scaling and high availability.Monitor cloud costs and optimize resource utilization.CI/CD Pipeline Automation:Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline to streamline build, testing, and deployment processes for mobile apps.Integrate mobile app testing frameworks (e.g., Appium) into the CI/CD pipeline for automated testing across different devices and OS versions.Mobile App Deployment:Manage app distribution channels (App Store Connect, Google Play Console) through automation for seamless releases.Implement strategies for managing app versions, updates, and rollback processes.Monitoring and Observability:Set up comprehensive monitoring systems using AWS CloudWatch to track app performance metrics (response times, error rates, usage patterns) and identify potential issues proactively.Utilize logging and tracing tools to troubleshoot mobile app issues effectively.Security:Implement robust security measures on AWS infrastructure to protect sensitive mobile app data (user authentication, encryption, access controls).Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).Collaboration:Work closely with mobile app development teams to understand their needs and integrate DevOps practices into their workflow.Provide technical guidance on cloud architecture best practices for mobile app deployments.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in AWS DevOpsStrong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, Lambda, etc.)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormationExpertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementationKnowledge of mobile app development processes and common mobile app testing frameworksScripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation tasksUnderstanding of security best practices for cloud environmentsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
