Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Manager and Content Writer. The Social Media Manager and Content Writer will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies for our clients, creating engaging content, and analyzing social media metrics to improve performance. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create effective marketing campaigns and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Social Media Management:

- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.

- Define the most important social media KPIs.

- Manage and oversee social media content.

- Measure the success of every social media campaign.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

- Work with designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.

- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.

- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.


2. Content Writing:

- Research industry-related topics and generate ideas for new content.

- Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice.

- Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.

- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.

- Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g., comments and shares).

- Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics.

- Update website content as needed.


3. Reporting:

- Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.

- Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.


Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager.

- Experience with creating content for the web and growing a social audience.

- Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences.

- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.

- Familiarity with web design and publishing.

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Strong multitasking skills.
