Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Data Technical Lead to manage and oversee the implementation of cutting-edge data solutions using Azure technologies. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in data engineering, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of data engineers and technical professionals to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Design and implement scalable data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) , Databricks , and PySpark .
Provide architectural solutions for data integration, transformation, and loading processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with security standards.
Manage version control systems like ADO and GIT , ensuring seamless collaboration and deployment processes.
Develop scripts and automation solutions using PowerShell for process efficiency.
Support the implementation and integration of Power BI for basic reporting and dashboarding.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, workflows, and platforms.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the team.
Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met with high-quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must-Have:
Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) , Azure platform services, Databricks , and PySpark .
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SQL , ADO , GIT , PowerShell , and Power BI Basics .
Proven experience in leading and managing a technical team.
Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work in a flexible timing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred:
Experience with cloud security best practices.
Certification in Microsoft Azure technologies.
Knowledge of other Azure data services like Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Cosmos DB.
