Role- Sr. Reliability Engineer / SpecialistQualification -

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics, Engg.Expected Experience -

7 to 12 years of relevant experience with minimum 3 years in medical device or other regulated industryExperience is NPD/NPI or Re-engineering lifecycle is a must

Job ResponsibilitiesReliability modelling and predictionCriticality AssessmentFault Tree AnalysisWeibull Tree AnalysisRoot-Cause failure AnalysisSingle Point of failure studiesReliability AnalyticsReliability test planning, coordinating with test engineers for test execution and report preparation

Required SkillsGood understanding of electro-mechanical design conceptsMust Have good understanding of reliability tools and equipment like climatic chamber, vibration shaker etcGood understanding about mechanical mfg. processUnderstanding of design concepts of Plastic parts, Sheet metal, Die-casting, and Machined parts, 3D modelling and 2D draftingKnowledge of GD&T - tolerance analysis

Desirable SkillsDesign of experiment (DOE) methodologiesDemonstrated knowledge of statistical, mathematical and engineering conceptsDesign for excellence viz. DFM, DFT, DFRKnowledge of global quality and regulatory environment for medical devices including IEC 60601-1-1, ISO 13485, ISTAknowledge of Injection tools, process, Pressure die-casting, and secondary processes like plating, anodization, and Painting/powder coatingUnderstanding of FEA tools
