Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly self-motivated and independent Business Development Intern who can take full ownership of our client acquisition process. As a startup, we currently do not have a defined process for acquiring clients, so we need someone who can create and implement this from the ground up. You will be responsible for researching, identifying, and engaging with potential clients, particularly internationally, and developing a structured approach to client acquisition. Strong communication skills in English are essential for this role to ensure effective engagement with global clients. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and thrives on taking initiative with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Research and establish a client acquisition process tailored for our startup
  • Independently identify and engage potential clients and business opportunities
  • Develop strategies to acquire more international clients and expand our global reach
  • Take full ownership of the sales funnel, from lead generation to closing deals
  • Prepare client presentations, proposals, and sales materials with minimal guidance
  • Manage follow-up communications and maintain accurate client records
  • Regularly report progress and key metrics to the manager
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and global business trends to refine acquisition strategies


Qualifications :

  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create and implement processes from scratch
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with an ability to close deals
  • Strategic thinking to identify business opportunities and formulate acquisition strategies
  • Market research and analysis skills to understand industry trends and competition
  • Client relationship management skills to foster long-term partnerships
  • Excellent time management and organization skills to handle multiple projects
  • Familiarity with digital marketing techniques (e.g., SEO, social media) is a plus
  • Cross-cultural competence, particularly in working with international clients
  • Data-driven decision-making skills and the ability to present findings clearly
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
