Core Responsibilities
1.Assisting Indian agents and students with selecting their appropriate property and room
2.Assisting in processing bookings, sending booking links and following up with students to complete their booking.
3.Support the Leasing and Partnerships Advisor as required
4.Other administrative activities as required
5.Provide a high-quality, customer-oriented service giving first-class support and guidance to students on accommodation options include the relevant tenancy/booking terms and conditions.
6.Adhere to pre-agreed standard operating proceedings, protocols, and workflows.
7.Develop positive relationships with key stakeholders in India such as education agents, prospective students, parents, and partners
8.Collaborate with Indian-based Institution stakeholders
9.Enhance student conversion and retention through a positive enquiry and application experience.
This role may be expanded beyond India and include South Asia or other markets as demand changes.
Job Description
1.Provide administrative support and maintain records for applicants per the booking procedures and regulations of the student accommodation provider.
2.Support the recruitment team in follow up on matters like booking confirmation, additional document requirements and other booking-related matters via telephone, email, WhatsApp and/or face-to-face interactions.
3.Maintain excellent ‘customer service’ by answering all enquiries from prospective students and parents in a professional and friendly manner.
4.Provide high-quality standards of service and partnership with all stakeholders.
5.Maintaining and updating CRM with the student details and with regular follow-ups for conversion.
6.Any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position.
7.Respond to queries from students, parents, agents, and others with-in 24 hours, providing detailed information in an accessible format.
8.Where required, proactively contact applicants to support their progress.
9.Ensure accurate and timely record keeping on Sannam S4’s CRM and other systems.
10.Work on various technology platforms to deliver the duties, including but not limited to CRM, Contact Centre, external systems such as booking platforms.
11.Work with colleagues at the student accommodation provider in a focused and professional manner.
12.Keep up to date with development and changes to room/property availability, university partnerships, accommodation ‘specials’, and changes to booking processes.
13.Ensure an outcome focused approach is maintained to support Sannam S4 and its partners’ aspirations.
14.Where required, engage with the student accommodation provider to provide feedback, undertake training etc.
15.Supporting the student accommodation provider, by representing them in fairs, events on Pan India basis when needed.
Essential criteria
1.Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2.Strong attention to detail
3.Excellent communication skills - Written and spoken English
4.Educated to degree level or equivalent.
5.Familiarity with the Australian education system would be desirable, but not essential.
Experience
1.Experience of working in international higher education, hotel/property industry or similar environment for at least 1 - 2 years
2.Experience of the higher education sector in Australia preferably including study abroad, through work or study
3.Experience of counselling students and parents.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
1.Knowledge and understanding of the education system and understanding of the range of issues relevant to students contemplating study in Australia.
2.Sound knowledge of processes and procedures underpinning successful international student interest, such as enquiry management, admissions, and accommodations.
3.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
4.Ability to communicate confidently and clearly to a wide range of audiences via a variety of media
5.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise and establish rapport with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
6.Ability to build successful relationships and networks of contacts
7.IT literacy and understanding and knowledge of working with databases and CRM software
8.Excellent organizational skills including the ability to manage heavy workload, prioritize competing demands and work to deadlines
