Job Summary:The Frontend Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the user-facing aspectsof our web applications. This role requires a strong understanding of core web technologies,proficiency in modern Java Script frameworks, and an ability to work with server-side components.The ideal candidate will be passionate about user experience, highly skilled in crafting responsiveand visually appealing interfaces, and capable of writing clean, efficient, and well-documentedcode.Key Responsibilities:● UI Development: Develop highly responsive, interactive, and user-friendly web interfacesusing HTML5, CSS3, and Java Script.● Component-Based Development: Build reusable and scalable UI components andpages using React.js.● Core Java Script Proficiency: Demonstrate strong proficiency in Vanilla Java Script,including ES6+ features, DOM manipulation, and asynchronous programming.● Styling & Theming: Implement pixel-perfect designs and ensure cross-browsercompatibility and responsiveness using various CSS methodologies (e.g., Flexbox, Grid,CSS-in-JS, SASS/LESS).● Server-Side Interaction: Understand and integrate with backend APIs, demonstratinggood knowledge of how server-side languages like PHP function to serve data andcontent. This includes understanding concepts like request/response cycles, APIendpoints, and data formats (e.g., JSON).● Performance Optimization: Optimize web applications for maximum speed andscalability, ensuring an excellent user experience.● Testing & Debugging: Write unit and integration tests for frontend components andeffectively debug issues across the application stack.● Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, productmanagers, and QA to translate designs and requirements into functional web applications.● Code Quality: Adhere to best practices for code structure, naming conventions,accessibility, and documentation. Participate actively in code reviews.● Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest frontend technologies, trends, and bestpractices, and actively contribute to improving our development processes.Qualifications:● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, orequivalent practical experience.● 4-6 years of professional experience in frontend web development.● Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and Java Script.● Proven experience with React.js and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, React Router, Hooks).● Demonstrable strong proficiency in Vanilla Java Script, with a deep understanding ofcore language features and browser APIs.● Good knowledge of a server-side language like PHP, including how frontendapplications interact with PHP-driven backends via APIs.● Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.● Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.● Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex frontend issues.● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.● Strong communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Skills:● Experience with other Java Script frameworks/libraries (e.g., Next.js, Vue.js, Angular).● Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Gulp).● Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).● Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).● Familiarity with UI/UX principles and design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).● Experience consuming RESTful APIs and/or Graph QL.● Understanding of backend development principles and database interactions.
