Direct Sales Head

to lead and manage our direct sales team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales management, a strong grasp of the sales process, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth. This leadership role requires a candidate who can develop and implement effective sales strategies, mentor a high-performing sales team, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development:Design and execute comprehensive direct sales strategies aligned with company revenue targets.Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand market share and business growth.Team Leadership and Management:Lead, mentor, and motivate the direct sales team to meet and surpass sales goals.Provide coaching, training, and development to enhance the team's skills and performance levels.Sales Performance Monitoring:Track and evaluate sales metrics to assess performance and identify improvement areas.Present regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management.Customer Relationship Management:Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.Ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management and issue resolution.Sales Process Optimization:Streamline the sales process to boost efficiency and effectiveness.Implement industry best practices and sales tools to enhance team productivity.Market Analysis and Competitor Intelligence:Conduct thorough market research to stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.Leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Cross-Departmental Collaboration:Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and broader business objectives.Provide feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; Engineering background preferred.Proven experience in a senior sales management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.Strategic thinker with a history of developing and executing successful sales strategies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Data-driven with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Willingness to travel as needed.
