The Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) is looking for a motivated Academic Counselor in Pune to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and experience in EdTech sales or student counseling. As an Academic Counselor, you will provide essential academic counseling and career guidance to prospective students, helping them navigate course offerings, admissions requirements, and career opportunities in the analytics industry. You will be a key part of our admissions team, working closely with students and their families to drive student enrollments and support student retention. Key Responsibilities Student Counseling: Provide personalized guidance to prospective students on BIA’s academic programs, course o fferings, fees, cu rricul um, and prer e quisites.Admi ssions Assistance: Gui de students through the admission process, inc luding application submissions, interviews, and document verification to e nsure a seamless experience.Lead Follow-Up and Conversion: Fol low up with potential leads and inquiries, using lead conversion tech niques to drive student enrollments.Pres e ntations & Online Counseling: Con duct engaging presentations, online counseling, and face-to-face meetings to explain the features, benefits, and career opportunities asso ciated with BIA’s courses.Recor d Maintenance: Mai ntain accurate records of student counseling sessions, fol low-up actions, and feedback in alignment with data management best practices.Caree r Counseling: Pro vide career advice on job opportunities, cer tifications, and upskilling rele vant to the analytics industry to help students achieve their professional goals.Colla boration: Wor k closely with the marketing and admissions teams to d rive enrollments, meet student intake targets, and achieve organizational goals.Indus try Awareness: Sta y updated on the latest trends in education and analytics to p rovide informed, insightful guidance.Relat ionship Building: Bui ld positive relationships with students, parents, and educational partners to foster student engagement and r > Etention . Preferred Candidate Profile Experience: Minimum of 1 year in EdTech sales, academic counseling, or a rel at ed field.Communication Skills: Exc ellent English communication and presentation skills, bot h verbal and written.Inter personal Skills: Str ong customer-facing and interpersonal skills with a charismatic, competitive, and enthusiastic personality.Negot iation Skills: Abi lity to engage prospective students and their families effectively, with strong negotiation skills to s upport lead conversion.Tech n ical Skills: Pro ficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools or o ther record-keeping systems for effective data management.
