The Role
We are seeking a Tech Co-Founder to lead the end-to-end technology development for our mental health platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in building scalable, feature-rich applications and software solutions, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies like AI/ML. This role is ideal for a tech enthusiast who thrives on innovation, problem-solving, and building robust, user-centric systems from scratch.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Technology Roadmap: Define and implement a scalable architecture for our platform, ensuring it evolves to meet user and business needs.
- Full-Stack Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of the Mind Alcove web and mobile applications, incorporating a seamless user interface and personalized features.
- AI/ML Capabilities: Develop advanced AI/ML-driven functionalities, such as personalized mental health recommendations, habit-tracking insights, and predictive analytics.
- Platform Integration: Build a robust backend with APIs and microservices architecture, enabling smooth integration with third-party tools and enterprise systems.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design and optimize secure and scalable cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support rapid user growth.
- Data Security and Privacy: Ensure compliance with global data protection standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and implement best practices for data security and user privacy.
- Team Building: Recruit and lead a small, high-performing tech team as the company grows.
- Collaborate with the founding team on strategic decisions, product innovation, and investor presentations to secure funding.
Who You Are
We are seeking a Tech Co-Founder to join our team with equity against investment in our company and able to run without fixed income for the next 9-12 months.
- Experience in Building Applications: 6–10 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of developing and scaling web and mobile applications from scratch.
- Full-Stack Expertise: Proficient in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Flutter) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET).
- AI/ML Enthusiast: Solid understanding of AI/ML models, data pipelines, and real-time analytics to enhance user engagement and personalization.
- DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Visionary Thinker: Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to conceptualize and implement tech solutions aligned with business goals.
- Innovative Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for leveraging technology to create meaningful impact.
- Hands-On Leader: Comfortable being deeply involved in coding and architecture while also steering the tech strategy at a high level.
- Risk Taker: Ready to commit to a zero-fixed-income role for the next 12–18 months with equity in the company.
