Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team, responsible for securing the operations of cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software. This includes the installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cloud environments, ensuring their robustness against security threats. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud security and be proficient in designing and implementing security strategies for cloud-based applications, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Design & Security: Design, implement, and manage secure cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS and Azure. Focus on secure configurations, identity, and access management.
  • Penetration Testing & Risk Mitigation: Perform penetration testing and threat simulations to proactively identify and mitigate security risks in the cloud environment.
  • Cryptography & Encryption Management: Oversee the management of cryptography and encryption practices in the cloud to ensure data protection.
  • Incident Monitoring & Response: Monitor the cloud environment for security incidents, responding to threats and minimizing potential damage.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep cloud infrastructure and security technologies up-to-date, making recommendations for improvements to enhance cloud security resilience.
  • Automation & Scripting: Analyze, design, and develop programs, shell scripts, tests, and automation capabilities to improve cloud security operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with analysts, engineers, and data scientists across the organization to improve overall cyber resilience and security posture.
  • 24/7 Operations: Participate in 24/7 operational support, including incident response and maintaining the security of cloud systems around the clock.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in cloud security, with hands-on experience in either AWS or Azure environments.
  • Certifications: Relevant Cloud Security certification (e.g., CCSK, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate) is highly desirable.
  • Customer Interaction: Ability to handle customer requirements and interactions effectively.

Desired Skills:

  • Cloud Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity management, encryption, and access control.
  • Cloud Platforms Expertise: Proficiency in securing cloud environments, particularly AWS or Azure.
  • Security Tools & Techniques: Experience with penetration testing tools, threat detection, incident response, and forensic analysis.
  • Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with cloud automation tools and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze security vulnerabilities, design effective countermeasures, and develop solutions to complex security challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work Environment:

  • Shift: As part of a 24/7 operational team, candidates must be flexible to work in different shifts as required.
  • Job Type: Full-time position.
