Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Social Media Manager to lead and elevate our brand's digital presence. This role involves crafting and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth across platforms. The ideal candidate will oversee content creation, manage campaigns, and foster an active online community while closely monitoring performance metrics to optimize results. As a leader, you will mentor a dynamic team, stay ahead of trends, and collaborate with key stakeholders to align social media initiatives with organizational goals. This position requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and proven expertise in social media management and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and follower growth across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Content Planning and Creation:
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and platform-specific content (graphics, videos, and copy).
- Collaborate with content, video, and design teams to ensure consistent messaging and visuals.
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote events, reports, and branded content.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, optimizing for maximum ROI.
Community Engagement:
- Foster an active and engaged online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Monitor and manage the brand’s online reputation, addressing queries and feedback promptly.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance metrics (engagement rates, impressions, follower growth, etc.) to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate detailed reports and actionable insights for leadership on a regular basis.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the social media team, ensuring alignment with overall goals.
- Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team.
Trend Analysis and Innovation:
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
- Experiment with new content formats and engagement techniques to keep the brand’s presence fresh and relevant.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with marketing, content, and event teams to amplify key initiatives.
- Align social media efforts with broader business goals and campaigns.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: 7+ years in social media management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- Content Creation: Strong skills in creating and directing engaging multimedia content.
- Analytics: Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies.
- Team Leadership: Experience managing and mentoring creative teams.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
