Job Description
Business Analyst:
At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical domain
Roles & Responsibilities
• Evaluating the feasibility, impact and benefits of the proposed solutions and alternatives for tech enablement.
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical environments such as IM (Innovative Medicine), GDD (Global Drug Development), Biomedical Research, Global Pharma function etc.
• Collaborating with the development team to ensure that the solutions are aligned with the business requirements and specifications.
• Conducting quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing to ensure that the solutions meet the quality standards and user expectations.
• Handling User Stories, Daily Scrums, Sprint reviews, Sprint retrospectives if needed.
• Reporting Project performance using metrics to stakeholders.
• Assisting Product Manager/s and Project Manager/s in smooth execution of the Project.
• Collecting and analysing business data from various sources such as software, spreadsheets, databases, etc.
• Communicating with different stakeholders such as clients, managers, developers, etc. to understand their expectations and requirements.
• Developing and documenting clear and concise business requirements, scope and objectives for each project.
• Creating and presenting detailed reports, dashboards, charts, etc. to communicate the findings and recommendations.
• Providing ongoing support and feedback to the clients and the development team throughout the project lifecycle. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role in a tech company or a digital enablement domain
• Knowledge of or experience in the Pharma industry or its subdomains such as IM (Innovative Medicine), GDD (Global Drug Development), Biomedical Research, Global Pharma functions, etc.
• Familiarity with the regulatory standards and compliance requirements of the Pharma industry
• Ability to understand and interpret complex scientific and medical data
• Knowledge of current IT trends.
• Proficiency in using various tools and software such as MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Visio, JIRA, Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills 2
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability learn new tools, to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy PREFERRED SKILLS
• Theoretical knowledge of or experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, AI, ML, RPA or other related domains
• Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management from a recognized institution
