Requirements/Qualifications
6+ years of proven experience in Android development with a strong portfolio of released applications.
Proficient in building UIs with Jetpack Compose .
Strong understanding and practical experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture.
Hands-on experience with Room database, Retrofit, Hilt/Kotlin, and Media 3
Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
Familiarity with Android Studio, Git, and CI/CD pipelines .
Experience implementing single source of truth concepts to support offline functionality.
Knowledge of optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
Proficiency in writing unit tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK , different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team, and excellent communication skills.
Good understanding of agile development methodology, jira etc
Roles and responsibilities:
Android app development: Develop an Android app using Kotlin and its integration with back-end services.
UI Development: Design and implement user interfaces using Jetpack Compose , ensuring clean, readable, and maintainable code.
Architecture Implementation: Adhere to MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) and Clean Architecture principles to ensure the robustness and scalability of projects.
Database Management: Utilize Room for local database management , providing an abstraction layer over SQLite for efficient data handling.
API Integration :Implement Retrofit for network operations, simplifying HTTP requests and responses.
Audio Streaming: Integrate and manage audio streaming using Media 3, ensuring seamless playback control within the MainActivity.
Dependency Injection: Utilize Hilt or Koin for dependency injection to improve modularity and ease of testing.
Download Management: Implement download functionalities using DownloadManager from the Android SDK, ensuring reliable and robust download processes.
Code quality :Build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code, adhering to best practices.
Salary: 10LPA to 15LPA
