Key Responsibilities

Responsible for design & development of automotive passenger vehicle Headliner & Floor carpets system & components from concept to tool release.Responsible for creating concepts, Variants & layouts in 3D & check feasibility to meet target requirements.Part design to meet homologation & testing requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Procurement groups & supplier to ensure manufacturing and assembly feasibility and serviceability.Identification of opportunities to reduce complexity, cost, and weight.Identifying problems, analysis & resolution.DMU analysis.Creating BOM, DFMEA, Variant Matrix documents.Verifying 3D & 2D data & release.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Experience in latest technology for roof liner & Floor carpet.Knowledge of Materials requirement & development process.Experience in packaging, styling feasibility study and tooling.Experience in manufacturing process &Rich Experience with systems of Interiors soft trims such as, headliner, Floor carpet.Experience with technical documentation includes DVP,DFMEA, technical presentation.
