Position Overview:

We are seeking an Advanced Shopify Web Developer with expertise in deep custom coding and experience in assisting with app development for iOS and Android. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency to implement complex custom features on our Shopify store and support the development of applications compatible with mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Custom Development: Design and implement complex custom features and functionalities within the Shopify platform using advanced coding techniques.
  • App Development Assistance: Provide technical support and expertise for the development of mobile applications compatible with iOS and Android, working closely with app developers to ensure integration and functionality.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Shopify stores for speed, efficiency, and scalability, including advanced techniques for code optimization and performance tuning.
  • API Integration: Build and integrate advanced APIs to connect Shopify with third-party services such as CRM systems, ERP solutions, and other e-commerce tools.
  • Cross-Platform Support: Assist in ensuring that custom features and integrations on Shopify align with the requirements of iOS and Android applications, facilitating smooth interaction between platforms.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Shopify themes, apps, and e-commerce operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to deliver customized solutions that align with business objectives and enhance the user experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, best practices in e-commerce development, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our online platform.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Shopify Expertise: Extensive experience in developing and customizing Shopify themes and apps, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex projects.
  • Proficiency in Coding: Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify's Liquid templating language, with a focus on custom solutions and integrations.
  • App Development Assistance: Experience in assisting with the development of iOS and Android applications, including knowledge of mobile development frameworks and integration requirements.
  • API Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Shopify's APIs and experience with integrating third-party services.
  • Cross-Platform Skills: Familiarity with how Shopify customizations and mobile applications interact and support each other.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges.
  • E-Commerce Insight: Solid understanding of e-commerce best practices, including SEO, UX/UI principles, and responsive design.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
