Responsibilities

- Process payroll for the employees- Maintain accurate and updated records of all payroll transactions- Resolve payroll issues promptly and efficiently, co-ordinate with relevant departments- Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations, including taxes and benefits- Prepare and file all payroll-related tax returns and reports- Perform regular audits and reviews of payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and totality- Communicate with employees about payroll-related concerns/ queries- Work with HR and other departments to ensure that any personnel changes are processed promptly- Provide support for various payroll projects and initiatives- Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of payroll accounts

Qualifications

Graduate - Preferably B.Com

Required Skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing- 5-6 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field- Excellent organizational skills- Familiarity with payroll software and databases- Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices- Effective written and verbal communication skills- Ability to discreetly handle confidential information- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll-related issues- Experience with payroll processing for a large and diverse workforce- Ability to work well in a team- Ability to communicate with employees by using strong interpersonal skills
