Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
Lifecycle Tracking: Monitor and manage the lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition through deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure all asset management practices comply with CMMS standards and organizational policies.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on asset status, usage, and inventory levels for management review.
Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of asset assignments, locations, and configurations.
Collaboration: Work with IT teams to plan for future asset needs and ensure timely procurement and decommissioning of resources.
Audit Support: Assist in audits by providing complete and accurate records of IT assets.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT asset management or a related role.
Familiarity with CMMS tools and practices, with the ability to manage asset compliance.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
Knowledge of asset tracking tools and technologies.
Basic understanding of IT hardware, software, and licensing models.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in managing IT assets in compliance-heavy industries.
Proficiency in asset management software tools like ServiceNow, Asset Panda, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
