Job Overview:

Forge Alumnus is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, identify new business opportunities, and build long-term relationships with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for the education sector and a strong track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base in the educational sector.
  • Identify, prospect, and engage with decision-makers at educational institutions to promote Forge Alumnus services, including Industry Institute Interaction platforms, career discovery services, and more.
  • Close deals with colleges and universities, ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Forge Alumnus’s presence across various regions.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with educational institutions, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to enhance the platform's offerings.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring smooth implementation of Forge Alumnus services.
  • Regularly update clients on new services, product enhancements, and industry trends.

Product Demonstrations & Presentations:

  • Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and virtual demos to showcase the value of Forge Alumnus services.
  • Customize presentations to address the specific needs of prospective clients and demonstrate the impact of the platform on their students’ career outcomes.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and customer feedback.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product team to help refine and enhance the platform’s offerings.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Track sales metrics, prepare reports, and present performance updates to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in the education or EdTech sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the educational sector, particularly in higher education institutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
