Rosti Group, a global plastics injection moulding company and contract manufacturer is pleased to announce that we are currently looking for the Facility Manager who will be responsible for the successful development and management of our new production plant in India. The new facility will be in Chennai, India and represents a significant step in the company’s strategic expansion in the dynamic Asian market.
This role will involve planning, designing, and implementing facility layouts and systems to ensure a well-organized and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the construction and setup of the leased facility, ensuring all work meets company standards and complies with local regulations.
· Liaise with contractors, architects and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
· Design and implement effective facility layouts to optimize production efficiency.
· Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and report on the facility’s operational performance.
· Coordinate the installation and commissioning of injection molding machines and other essential equipment.
· Implement and manage a preventative maintenance plan to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
· Above 8 years’ experience in facilities management, preferably within the injection moulding industry.
· Familiar with local regulations, statutory requirements and HSE regulations
· Proven experience in facility layout and equipment management
· Excellent project management skills
· Good communication skills
