About the role: Please note this is NOT a writing/editing position. You will be responsible for growing our business. This is a client facing role - from sensing opportunities, servicing leads, scoping, pricing and negotiation and sign off. It also does not involve design creation and posting although knowledge of that will be a plus. You need to qualify and convert relevant prospects into clients and hand them over to operations team.
This role is NOT:
- This is NOT a content writing/content editing position.
- This is NOT about chasing targets.
Responsibilities: Full Time
- Keep an eye for content creation opportunities with corporates and start -ups
- Service leads that reach out
- Understand the prospect ‘s business and size up the requirements by asking right questions
- Prepare pitches for the client including research (industry analysis, competition research, brand tonality etc )
- Propose formats , ideas , frequency, topics , themes , concepts wireframes after checking viability with internal teams for execution
- Researching the brand, competition , preparing tonality documents
- Prepare estimates and proposals, RFP responses such that it meets client's expectation
- Lead pricing negotiations
- Seamless handover to the editorial and servicing team of the approved project scope by preparing the brief document
- Managing paperwork and agreements - liaising with the legal team - with the help of admin person
- Scouting existing corporates and startups with meaningful and relevant ideas to create and upsell/cross sell content
- Draft the monthly plan for WB LLP social media and blogs with concept ideas and copy
- Always maintaining deadlines
Location: Mumbai only (Candidates residing between Bandra to Vasai should only apply)
Skills: This role requires you to be a polymath and work on multiple projects
- BBA/MBA Marketing
- Good written and spoken Communication skills
- Decent command over English
- 1-5 years of work experience in marketing and advertising
- Hungry and assertive - able to be comfortable with numbers for pricing and calm in cut-throat negotiations
- Competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision
- Self-motivated and trustworthy
