The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and operational leader, aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success. This role focuses on fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and managing talent to meet the dynamic needs of the organization. The HRBP partners closely with business leaders and employees to implement HR solutions, resolve employee concerns, and support workforce development. 

Key areas of focus include workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, training, compliance, and change management. The HRBP plays a vital role in promoting organizational goals while ensuring the well-being and growth of employees.

About Product:


SiteRecon is the Amazon for property maps. Users place an order to create a map. State-of-the-art AI does our data delivery with a humans-in-the-loop pipeline. This becomes the basemap to create survey notes, operations plans, cost estimates, and so on.


About the Market:


Although our technology applies to many applications especially related to the site-based operations industry, our Primary market is the landscaping industry in the United States, Canada, and Australia. The combined size of Industry in these 3 countries alone makes up a staggering $200B.


Key Responsibilities:


HR Strategy & Leadership:  


  • Collaborate with the executive team to design and execute the company's HR strategy. 
  • Ensure alignment with business goals while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management:


  • Develop and implement strategies for attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent to meet the organization's current and future needs.
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes. 
  • Develop shift schedules and ensure alignment with labor laws and production requirements.
  • Handle workforce planning during peak production cycles to meet operational needs.


HR Operations and Employee Relations:


  • Oversee HR systems, processes, and policies, ensuring efficient operations across payroll, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters.
  • Ensure clear communication of company policies, safety protocols, and production expectations.
  • Act as a bridge between shop-floor employees and management to enhance trust and collaboration.
  • Mediate conflicts between workers and supervisors, maintaining a balanced approach to resolving issues.


Performance Management:


  • Implement robust performance management processes to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 
  • Facilitate regular reviews and feedback mechanisms to drive employee growth.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including setting KPIs, conducting appraisals, and providing feedback.
  • Work with supervisors to identify skill gaps and address underperformance through coaching or training programs.


Learning & Development:


  • Design and oversee learning programs to upskill employees and enhance leadership development. 
  • Foster a continuous learning environment across the company.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employees to participate in development opportunities.


HR Metrics & Reporting:


  • Use data and analytics to inform HR strategies and measure the success of HR initiatives. 
  • Provide regular reports to the leadership team.


Qualifications: HR Business Partner (HRBP)


Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, or CIPD (preferred).
Experience (all compulsory items)
  • 5+ years of professional HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment with blue-collar workers (preferred for factory roles). We are an operations heavy business with digital-maps factory type of setup. 
  • Hands-on experience in areas such as employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and workforce planning.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and HR analytics tools.
  • Sound understanding of labor laws, workplace safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in designing and implementing HR policies and processes.

  • Should be proficient in English and Hindi. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address workforce challenges effectively.
  • Ability to manage conflicts, mediate disputes, and resolve grievances.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Adaptability to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with managing unionized workforces or contract labor (for manufacturing roles).
  • Expertise in change management and organizational development.
  • Experience in training design and delivery for both technical and behavioral skills.
