JOB DESCRIPTION- PORTFOLIO MANAGER


We are seeking an experienced Portfolio/Wealth Manager with a strong background in tax management to join our dynamic tax team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing high-net-worth clients' portfolios, providing tailored investment stratgies, and optimizing tax efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations, investment strategies, and financial planning.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage personalized investment portfolios for clients, focusing on growth, risk management, and tax efficiency.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and rebalancing to align with clients' financial goals and market conditions.
  • Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities, considering both short-term and long-term tax implications.
  • Provide comprehensive tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities while maximizing their investment returns.
  • Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and take advantage of tax-saving opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and regular communication.
  • Educate clients on tax implications of their financial decisions and guide them in making informed choices.
  • Conduct in-depth research on investment products, tax-efficient strategies, and market trends to support decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, highlighting portfolio performance, tax savings, and future recommendations.
  • Work closely with other financial advisors, tax professionals, and legal advisors to deliver comprehensive wealth management services.
  • Participate in internal meetings and contribute to the development of investment strategies and tax planning processes.

 

Qualifications/Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CFP (Certified Financial Planner), or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, portfolio management, or a similar role with a focus on tax planning.
  • Proven track record of managing high-net-worth client portfolios and delivering tax-efficient strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment strategies, financial markets, and tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software, portfolio management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
