Reference - Position description Job title TECH LEAD MONITORING AND OPERATIONS M/F Contract type Permanent contract Business Line specific context Within a company experiencing strong international growth, intervene in the administration, maintenance of operational conditions and optimization of the various systems (approximately 80% windows and 20% Linux) and infrastructures, network and security infrastructures. as well as major infrastructure software (Messaging, EDM, Databases, group collaborative spaces, web, etc.) and the MiddleWare and Database layers of our Applications. The job will be divided into a large number of tasks. This service consists of carrying out operations in order to guarantee the availability of servers, systems, active elements, services and applications. Also in a context of critical transformation from an OnPremise mode to a Cloud mode (AZURE) for all of the EGIS group's datas Ensure the implementation, maintenance in operational condition and evolution of hardware and software for entrusted environments, mainly through our ITSM tool but also through any other tool used within the EGIS DSI (TEAMS , phone, email, etc.) Guarantee the integrity of systems, especially with a strong context in terms of security and facing repeated attacks from hackers who are increasingly familiar with new cyberattack techniques Participate in new projects by integrating applications into our administered environments The position includes 3 teams and three 8-hour shifts to provide 24/7, coverage Job description Skill: 5 years studies (Engineer) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Skill: French spoken would be a bonus 10 years of experience in IT systems and network engineering roles, with demonstrated expertise in network architecture and system administration. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and architectures, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching. Hands-on experience with network equipment and technologies from leading vendors (ARUBA, FORTINET, AZURE). Proficiency in system administration tasks, including server deployment, configuration management, and troubleshooting (WINDOWS, LINUX, AZURE). Proficiency in DBMS administration tasks, creation, configuration, and troubleshooting (MS SQL Server, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) Proficiency in Middleware administration tasks, configuration, and troubleshooting (Java, IIS, Apache) Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, with experience implementing security controls and risk mitigation strategies. Hands-on experience of ITSM tools (ServiceNow would be appreciate) ITIL v4 certification would be a bonus. Users satisfaction centric. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer support and service excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications would be appreciated and are highly desirable.  Significant experience at the same position  Profile 1 Key Responsibilities1.1 Technical tasks1.1.1 Network Infrastructure Management Maintain, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN connections. Ensure network reliability, performance, and security through the implementation of best practices and industry standards of Egis. Monitor network traffic, analyze data, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and resource utilization. 1.1.2 System Administration Administer and maintain servers, storage systems, and virtualization environments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patches and updates, to minimize downtime and mitigate security risks. 1.1.3 Middleware and Databases Administration Administer and maintain our DBMS, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security. Administer and maintain our Middleware tools, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security. 1.1.4 Network Security Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions, to safeguard against cyber threats and unauthorized access in compliance with Group rules. Participate to regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing, under the governance of EGIS Digital IS & IT IOP and whit the Help of our SOC (Security Operation Center) to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the network infrastructure. 1.1.5 Backups Ensure backup (servers and network) and regularly test our backup solutions. 1.2 Operational tasks1.2.1 User Support and Customer Care Provide technical support to internal users and external customers, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner (respect of our internal SLA). Foster positive relationships with end-users and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and their feedback is valued and acted upon. 1.2.2 Project Management and Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to support the successful delivery of IT projects and initiatives. Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of new technologies, systems, and solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
