The Senior IT Network Administrator will primarily be a hands-on member of the Infrastructure team and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Networking across Globe. Secondly, in this position the administrator will be expected to regularly interface, oversee and manage the outsourced service provider resources to ensure productivity, quality and stability of the assigned technologies/solutions. Additionally, the Senior IT Security Administrator will be expected to plan, document, communicate, research, script, install, configure, troubleshoot, architect, and engineer solutions for all Networking needs. Finally, the administrator will also regularly interface with business users globally to understand the needs, understand issues and then translate these needs or issues into IT solutions.


Job Duties & Responsibilities


• Responsible for the Global Networking environment covering related policies, standards, procedures, products and solutions.

• This role will be responsible for defining requirements, implementing controls and reporting on progress and gaps.

• This role will be the technical lead on the design, installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of all Networking products and solutions.

• Responsible for architecting and managing Networking solutions such as Cisco, Meraki, and/or Fortinet switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points.

• This role will manage the outsourced service providers Networking tower resources and will also take level 3 escalations from the Networking team.

• Be the subject matter expert on implemented networking solutions and provide tactical roadmaps for networking space.

• Research industry trends, risks, and vulnerabilities; prepare plans to mitigate risks/vulnerabilities. • Participate in the design, implementation, testing and launching of all products pertaining to Network and firewalls.

• Presentations and communication to Senior IT and business leadership regarding issues, challenges, risks, gaps, roadmaps, and tactical decisions. Be able to articulate, defend recommendations and collect feedback to ensure IT alignment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (IT personnel, support outsourced providers, consultants, technology suppliers and company business users) relative to the implementation of new or revised technologies, capabilities and future Company Networking standards.

• As a member of the infrastructure team this role will be responsible for change management, problem management, and incident management as it relates to Networks.

• Monitor and control performance, uptime, availability, and cost of all circuits and networking equipment.


Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Proficient with or able to quickly learn systems and software used by the organization.

• High degree of professional poise, presence, and personal integrity

• Ability to work with all levels of personnel

• Solid understanding and experience with defining policies, standards, procedures and implementing solutions to meet NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and/or PCI DSS cybersecurity frameworks and controls.

• Solid understanding of Server, Storage, Virtualization and Desktop technologies as it relates to Network monitoring, reporting and controls.

• Solid understanding of cloud computing (e.g. IaaS, PaaS, Azure, Oracle Cloud etc.) as it relates to Network monitoring, reporting and controls.

• Knowledge of GDPR, ITAR, Data Protection implications

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems as it relates to Network monitoring, reporting and controls.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, network routing, network switching, firewalls, DMZ, Wireless Access Points, Captive Portals, Encryption, SSL Certificates, Cisco Any Connect VPN, IPSec VPN, WAN acceleration, QoS, SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, MPLS, Media Converters, Fiber Channel, iSCSI, Fiber Channel over Ethernet, ACLs, Load Balancers, TACACS, Terminal Servers, PBX, VOIP.


Education and Experience:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related subjects preferred.

• 10+ years of related experience required with medium scale IT enterprise having Cisco and/or Meraki networks.

• CCNA Routing & Switching, CCDA, CCNA Cloud, CCNA CyberOps, CCNA Data Center, CCNA Industrial, CCNA Security, or CCNA Wireless certifications preferred.
