Workforce management: Supervise and assign tasks to workers and subcontractors, monitor their performance, and help resolve any on-site disputes. Safety and compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct site inspections to identify hazards, and ensure workers follow all safety procedures. Quality control: Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure it adheres to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. Communication: Act as the main point of contact between site crews, subcontractors, and project managers. Report on progress, coordinate with vendors, and facilitate clear communication across all levels. Planning and scheduling: Coordinate the daily work schedule for the crew and plan project activities to keep them on track. Administrative duties: Maintain records, such as attendance and progress reports. Review construction plans and manage material orders and deliveries.
