Position: Program Manager Oil & Energy – Upstream (data science)Reports To:

Practice HeadCTC - Upto 30 LPALocation - Pune

Experience :o Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in program management within the Oil & Energy sector, focusing on emissions, energy, and carbonmanagement.o Proven track record in delivering large-scale data science projects with significant client interaction.

Qualifications:• Education:

o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.•Key Responsibilities:• Technical background:o Strong understanding of oil and gas – upstream processes including well operations, oil and gas terminals (Including Gas turbines, compressors, pumps, skimmers and flares) and pipelineso Strong understanding of the data analytics software and solutions in this ecosystem for applying analyticso Good with the concepts of soft-sensors, virtual metering, predictive maintenance, energy management and others• Client Engagement & Management:o Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and challenges in emissions, energy, and carbon management.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.• Program & Project Management:o Lead large-scale data science projects from inception to completion, focusing on emissions, energy optimization, and carbon management.o Establish project scope, budgets, timelines, and development plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives.o Oversee the day-to-day operations of projects, including resource allocation, team coordination, and risk management.• Team Leadership & Collaboration:o Manage and mentor teams of analysts, developers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality results.o Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement within the team.• Technical Expertise & Innovation:o Utilize advanced project management tools (e.g., MS Project) andmethodologies (e.g., PMP) to manage project deliverables.o Apply knowledge of data science, ML, and statistical methods (Python, R) to drive project success.o Leverage experience with MVA tools (e.g., SIMCA, Minitab, Seeq) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Palantir) to enhance project outcomes. • Strategic Planning & Implementation:o Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic goals into actionable project plans.o Develop strategies for integrating new technologies and data analytics approaches to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprints. • Quality & Compliance:o Ensure all projects comply with industry standards and regulations related to emissions and energy management.o Maintain rigorous quality control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.• Reporting & Communication:o Provide regular updates to clients, stakeholders, and senior management on project status, risks, and outcomes.o Document project processes, methodologies, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

• Skills & Competencies:o Strong expertise in data science, statistical methods, ML, and Python. o Advanced project management certification (e.g., PMP) and proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project).o Experience with MVA tools (e.g., SIMCA, Minitab, Seeq) and datavisualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Palantir).o Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills. o Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
