About the Business Unit

The Languages business encompasses all non-English or Indic Brands within the Times Internet portfolio, featuring a presence in eight regional languages across India, including Navbharat Times in Hindi, Maharashtra Times in Marathi, Vijay Karnataka in Kannada, Samayam in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, and I am Gujarat.

Our Languages division stands as the fastest-growing regional content platform in India. We have an audience base of 180 million users, with approximately one in every four Indians engaging with Times Internet Languages Platforms. We are the leading news and information player in the Indic Languages category on Comscore. We have maintained this dominance for several years now.

Diversity is at the heart of our community. Our audience is predominantly young, primarily below the age of 34 and has a strong female presence. We have a strong presence on social platforms with 24Mn followers on Facebook and 14Mn subscribers on Youtube, as on 15th Apr’24.

Role Summary

Program Manager will need to have a strong planning, documentation skills with bias for action, a drive to create business impact and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level project initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination with a cross functional team. The program manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture project success from inception to completion.



The Program Manager will oversee and direct projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring strategic alignment and timely completion. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.



Responsibilities

Work closely with Product, UX, Technology, QC, UI and other cross-functional teams, and their leaders to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for new and existing projects

Planning projects and its scrum in detail, setting schedules for all stakeholders and executing each step of the project. Ensure the proposed plan adheres to the timeline and scope.

Experience in Project reviews and planning, tracking, and managing risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.

Able to perform data analysis of technical systems for reporting, root cause identification, and process improvement.

Ensures alignment of all related parties including Technology, QC, UI, Product, System Teams on achievement of predetermined program objectives and deliverables.

Utilize agile methodologies, Scrum, sprint, waterfall, and other project management techniques to ensure successful project completion.

Perform detailed data analysis and create management reports. Create and maintain dashboards for Stakeholders with expectations management

Independently oversee and complete recurring business processes associated with scrum management, risk management, service request intakes, compliance, and audit processes.


Minimum Skills Required


4+ years of experience in an Project Management or QC Lead role

Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization

Strong organizational and project management skills with a proven track record of leading and delivering results in complex environments.

Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address manpower challenges and bottlenecks proactively.

Knowledge of agile methodologies, Scrum, sprint, waterfall, and other project management techniques to ensure successful project completion.



Eligibility

4+ years of experience in a Project Management role

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field. Masters would be added advantage.

Strong working knowledge of JIRA or any other Project Management Tools

Experience in Scrum and Agile Methodology.

This is a Work from Office role, based out of Noida.
