What You'll Do:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll be a key player in designing, building, and maintaining the critical infrastructure that powers our on-premise systems. You'll work across diverse environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage infrastructure, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Linux & Networking: Administer and optimize Linux servers, and manage on-premise network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and security.
  • Scripting and Automation : Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet), enabling automation and efficiency.
  • Monitoring and Logging Tools : Experience with monitoring tools (Monit, Nagios) and logging tools (ElasticSearch, Kibana, Prometheus, Splunk), essential for system health and performance tracking.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, enabling continuous integration and deployment of applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to deliver seamless services.
  • Big Data Familiarity: Basic knowledge of big data technologies (Cassandra, MongoDB, Hadoop, Kafka), making the candidate adaptable to data-driven environments.


Key Skills & Requirements:

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience , with a focus on on-premise environments.
  • Deep expertise in Linux system administration.
  • Hands-on experience managing and optimizing Kafka clusters.
  • Good background in networking (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Proven experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) and setting up robust alerting mechanisms.
  • Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins .
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
