Lead Python Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing Python-based solutions. This individual will lead a team of developers, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of our applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Python development, a solid grasp of modern software engineering practices, and proven leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:Design and develop high-performance, reusable, and reliable Python codeWork on both backend systems and APIs, ensuring smooth integration with other servicesImplement unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness of the codebaseManage deployment processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performanceLead a team of Python developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertiseOversee code quality and best practices to maintain high standards of development and testingReview code and provide feedback to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable codeWork closely with Product Managers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, user-centric solutionsParticipate in planning, design, and estimation sessions, contributing to technical discussions and decisionsCoordinate with DevOps to enhance automation and deployment pipelinesStay updated on industry trends, introducing new techniques and tools to the teamIdentify opportunities to refactor and improve existing codebases for enhanced maintainability and performanceEncourage a culture of learning and knowledge-sharing within the teamSolid knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and coding best practices.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Must have:5-7 years of experience in software development with Python, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior-level roleProven experience with backend development and building RESTful APIsHands-on experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPIFamiliarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)

Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detailStrong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersLeadership qualities to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
