ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies aligned with business goals and target audience preferences
2. Plan and coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, transportation, and accommodation
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment of messaging, branding, and promotional activities
4. Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets
5. Coordinate event promotion and marketing efforts, including email campaigns, social media promotion, and digital advertising, to drive attendance and engagement
6. Oversee the design and production of event materials, such as signage, banners, promotional items, and presentations
7. Recruit, train, and supervise event staff, volunteers, and temporary workers to ensure smooth event operations and excellent customer service
8. Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and address unforeseen challenges during events
9. Evaluate event success and effectiveness through post-event analysis, attendee feedback, and performance metrics
10. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event management to continually enhance event experiences and outcomes
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Proven experience in event planning, management, and execution, preferably within the IT industry or related fie
2. Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environme
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendo
4. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to conceptualize innovative event concepts and overcome challeng
5. Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-qualit y, seamless event experiences for attende
6.Budget management skills and financial acumen to optimize event resources and expenses. 7. Proficiency in event management software and tools for registration, attendee management, and data analys
8. Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve shared goa
9. Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple events simultaneously and adjust plans as need
10. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred.
