Digital is one of their key media business units and they are keen to be a Full-funnel solution partner to clients working on awareness, consideration, and performance campaigns.
Job Description:
As the Head of Digital Business, you will play a pivotal role in leading and expanding their digital advertising business. You will be reporting to the Chief Business Officer. This exciting opportunity comes with significant responsibilities and challenges, including:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Solutioning: Have a thorough understanding of their client’s businesses (KPIs, key
challenges, user insights, and digital journey). How does Digital marketing impact their business
and help improve the RoI of marketing investment
2. Planning: Strategize, plan, present, and implement best-in-class practices for digital media
campaigns with the ability to collate practical knowledge and best practices across digital ad tech platforms, DSPs, biddable media platforms, etc.
3. Campaign Management: supervise, guide, and review campaigns across clients to ensure KPIs are being delivered with the right amount of attention to detail, automation, dashboarding, and regular streamlining and cadence of reviews
4. Innovation: the ability to grasp defining themes in the digital marketing eco-system and
conceptualize and develop innovative solutions leveraging the latest tech (e.g. ChatGPT, Gen AI,
Automation tools)
5. Tool Development: work with cross-functional teams of Business Analysts, Product, Process,
Tech and Strategy execution team to keep developing best-in-class processes; tools for growth marketing
Day-to-Day Work:
1. Client Engagement: work closely with the client marketing team to understand the campaign brief & objectives and pitch digital marketing solutions
2. Team Management: work closely with team members to ensure deliverables are on track
3. Business Delivery: Ensure Annual, Quarter, and Monthly business targets are achieved via close monitoring and regular reviews of the pipeline at both account & campaign levels.
4. Plan Reviews: ensure best-in-class plan pitches are shared & executed to meet the client
campaign objectives
5. Partner Engagement: work closely with partner management of key digital platforms across
Google, Meta, Programmatic, OTT, DSP, DMPs
Qualifications:
Must Have
1. Experience: 8 years of digital media planning and buying experience, with 4-6 years in biddable/ programmatic platforms (DMPs, DSPs, etc.). Prior agency experience on the client solutions side preferred. High proficiency in running digital performance campaigns with KPIs of CPA, CPI, CAC, CPL, CRO, SEO, SEM etc.
2. Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing teams and fast-growing businesses.
3. Communication & Analytical skills: sound communication skills and analytical insights
4. Digital Media Mastery: A deep knowledge of integrated digital media, including planning and
measurement capabilities, latest innovations in the digital landscape.
Good to Have
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to lead strategic discussions with senior client
stakeholders.
6. Innovative Thinking: Self-motivated, creative, and solution-focused.
7. Process Expertise: Proficiency in setting up scalable processes.
Professional Degree: Min. BTech/BBM/BBA ideally MBA/ Master; Preferred: certifications in Digital Marketing courses (from Google, Meta or equivalent)
