Experience:

- At least 5 years of engineering experience- At least 2 project experience of Solar power plant etc.

Academic Background:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering- Preference for relevant qualifications

Report to: Team Leader – Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

- As a civil/structural (responsible) engineer, main objective is to oversee and manage projects to completion. This involves conducting studies, creating design plans, obtaining permits and approvals, estimating costs. Your expertise and attention to detail are crucial to ensure that projects are completed within budget, meet quality standards, and comply with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

- Design rotating equipment foundations, concrete structures and equipment foundations etc. (Structural)- Design grading, all kinds of drainage, roads and fence & gate etc. (Civil)- Ensures all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and code of practice- Prepares engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data- Checks the current site condition and incorporates in the design- Supports the permitting work- Provides engineering information by answering questions

Knowledge:

- Ability to work well on multi-disciplinary teams- Problem-solving skills- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc. (Civil)- Sound mathematical, scientific and IT skills- Drafting, LISP- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Staad Pro,Etabs, Civil 3D or similar
